Default B series motor swap

Alright, I am debating between two motors for a swap in my 98 civic. I used to drive a 92 Integra GSR, B17A1 DOHC VTEC blah blah blah, so I know the benefits of the B17. What I'm considering is the B16A2 from the 99-00 Si's. Based on price the B17 is clearly a superior motor, but for the price difference, what are the benefits of using the B16A2?

So the slightly larger displacement of the B17 isn't worth the extra money?(a good bit of money btw)

B17's cost more because of rarity. B18c is the way to go.

i would go b16. b17 bottom end parts are kinda difficult to find since they only made them for 2 years.
