So my steering wheel has had pays on it since day one that I bought it. The car has a swap in it but nothing was done to the power steering lines they are just there. Yesterday I was making a left turn and it felt as if the steering wheel had binded up on something when the wheels returned to the center the steering wheel was really crooked. Now when I make turns it feels binded and makes popping sounds. The car feels really unsafe to drive. My question is should I swap the rack with another p/s rack and just loop the lines or should I buy a manual rack on eBay because its gonna be tuff to find a manual rack here locally at a junk yard.

 

Anybody have any experience buying a steering rack on eBay? It's my daily and I need her back on the road safely.

 

how do you know it's even the rack? check all your steering parts for wear.
