Default boltons with stock ecu?

After switching to bigger exhaust with str thru muffler and v stack i noticed much leaner wot and high rpm

As far as i know stock ecu also runs open loop at wot.

So switching from a pea shooter stock exhaust and straw intake
To 2.5 exhaust with header and a good sri.
How much leaner would the car run on stock unmodified ecu?

Im just asking because alot of people do these upgrades without actually tuning the cars.

I think it will difficult to answer. Too many variables.

On my combination I have many bolts and other internal mods and on a stock P73 ecu at stock 43 psi fuel pressure I see well into the 11's at WOT.

99.9% of the "bolt-ons" (Intakes, Header, Exhausts) that people have put on their Hondas for over 15 years never had a change in AFR to need any adjustments to the ECU, OEM or otherwise, so no one bothers to go to that extent, as it doesn't change the AFR enough to require adjustment. If YOU feel its necessary, go right ahead. But as you said, you didn't do it the first time you had these items.... Why go all nuts over it now?

You'll be fine.. don't give yourself such a headache.

I actually am switching back to my stock p72 because my chipped p28 is running too rich for my taste. I have a stock gsr internally with ITR intake, junk2 pro IM, plm hytech header, 2.5" exhaust

Have you thought about tuning your chipped P28 to suite your tastes?

I ran a stock ECU on my F22B2 with a ported IM, 58mm TB, 255cc injectors and a 2.5" exhaust. Nothing done internally. The AFR's were fine.

It is a temporary thing until I get Neptune and boosted my motor in a month or so. I bought the chip from phearable just to see if there were any performance gain since everyone always recommends a tune when using aftermarket IM

i don understand is it just not enough increase in the air volume to affect it or ecu actually makes up for it with stock program?

im talking about WOT not part throttle.

I'm guessing that the short term and long term fuel trims have bit to do with it. It always took a little wile to straighten out after an ECU reset/disconnect the battery. However I always did the full reset procedure when it came to letting the ECU figure things out. Let it idle with absolutely no load for 5 minutes then turn on all of the accessories. Shut her down and go for a cuise... Usually didn't have any issues after the trims leveled out.
