Default Lower Torque Mounts question

What's up everybody i have a question about my lower torque mounts.

Both my lower torque mounts the rubber is cracked, split, broken, etc..

But both brackets are okay, I was wondering if i can just replace the inserts? or do i need just new mounts? I have a d16y8 if that makes a difference.

You can ask your local autostore if they a have a poly insert for your engine. Bring both mounts to fit-check the items at the store. But it will make the vibration in your car stronger and could probably lead to chassis damage. Buy oem or if you're really into cheap stuff that breaks easy, local autostore should have the ones like your oem. If you live in socal, autozone has one from durab....something...

But unless your car is a weekend or strip/drag car, then a stiffer, stronger mounts are suggested.

Dont waste your money and time on cheap stuff. They break easy. Youll end up paying more than an oem.

You can also use the window sealer which is polyurethane to fill those mounts.

You have that backwards.

OEM dealership. #8 and #9 are what you need.

Try http://www.rockauto.com/. Cheapest I found was $8.91ea + shipping. I just replaced one of mine. I'm not sure I got it from RockAuto, but I have bought numerous things from them and have always been satisfied.
