According to oriellys website the civic has a filter? I thought hondas didnt have trans filters? Can someone enlighten me.

 

Most fwd Honda's do not have an external filter....they are non-serviceable.

However, if your transmission was being serviced and apart anyway, that link would provide the internal filter and replacement gasket.

 

Your car has an unserviceable filter. It is internal, and I can assure you... replacing them is a lot more annoying/difficult then just replacing the transmission.
