anyone ever have a problem from removing stock intake pipe?
i just recently bought a 97 cx hatch. and so far its stock. (waiting for a motor swap) and and after driving my gsr, its not as fun at the moment. so i took off the stock intake pipe that went to the air box, but since the filter is right on top of the throttle body i figured it safe. and now it sounds like one of the best intakes i've ever heard. and has made it a little more fun. just wondering if anyone ever had a prob from doing this.
also, another question. i still have my gsr (has aem intake, type R cams, skunk2 man, dc headers, greddy exhaust, act clutch, comptech flywheel, tien coilovers, and other such goodies) and i'm planning to do a motor swap in the civic.
heres my question. should i build an allmotor 18c5 for the civic or should i build a turbo b18c1 for the civic or should i get a b18c5 for my gsr and take my gsr motor and put it in the civic and turbo it?
and don't really wanna spend over 6 or 7k
any positive input would be great. thanks

I say drop the B18C1 into the Civic & boost the **** out of it
The turbo kit would be what? 3500-4000? That leaves you a couple grand to replace the **** you break
