Default coolant shooting up out of radiator while bleeding cooling system

So I was just trying to get all the air out of my cooling system. (reason I believe there is air in there is because my idle is really bad/low. My car was driving fine yesterday (throwing map sensor code). affecting iacv?

well I had the cap off and turned the car on, cracked the bleeder valve. then closed it, waiting for the car to get up to temp so the thermostat would open. then all of a sudden coolant just starts shooting atleaat 5 inchs out of the radiator. Then I turn the car off and it dies down.

What is this a sign of? Ive never experienced this before.

Coolant appears to not be milky. same for oil.

Thank you to anyone that can help!

Milky is bad, milky means you have a busted head gasket allowing the oil and coolant to mix.

Er. He said NOT milky. But I agree it's probably the HG.

Map sensor code can be anything from a vaccumm leak to a bad sensor. You could also have the map and tps sensors connected backwards too(same connectors and throws the code like that too). But water flying out of the radiator is probably the Head gasket letting compression leak into the cooling jacket - doesn't mix with the oil like that. Of course if the motor was hot and you just added water it could be boiling out.

make sure the thermostat is in there the right way and that it is opening. and ultimately make sure you don't have some kinda blockage in the coolant system
