Hello i was wanting to get some info tips advice etc. on converting my power windows to manual roll ups
i have a 97 civic lx sedan
what will i need??

Because I believe there's a short somewhere in the wiring for the front passenger window it won't roll up or down when you engage the window switch I replaced master window switch passenger window switch checked all fuses put a new motor nothing still does the same thing I did notice when I put the new motor when I engage button it will only move as if I'm rolling the window up and won't do nothing whe. Rolling down so I'm tired of dealing with it I live in fla n have no ac with a baby need my windows fixed

 

So you don't actually KNOW if it's a wiring issue? You BELIEVE? Have you actually TESTED the wiring? Have the wiring checked then. It would be much cheaper than actually trying to do a full blown conversion.

 

Yea ill try that sometime today I would just test the 2 wires running to the plug?
