help plz anyone!!??
well my lsv has a "street" tune on it. was running precision 550 injectors and ive always smelled gas in my oil. well i figured the ecu wasnt tuned for the big injectors. so i just got a set of gsr injectors. i put them on and now im getting hardly any throttle response. like nothing at all. idk what to do. my pcv valve isnt hooked up. could that be why my oil smells like gas? should i put the 550s back on. or did i do something wrong maybe with the installation.. need help asap.. thanks honda-tech ppls
i didnt put this setup together. im guessing its tuned or at least basemapped because the ecu is an auto p75 which is non vtec. and my car is a manual and vtec does hit. i just smelled gas in the oil and i dont burn any oil so that ruled out the rings. didnt think it could be the pcv valve even though it isnt connected. so i didnt know if he tuned it for the bigger injectors or whatnot. because of the smell of my oil.
why someone would put 550ccs on a stock ls block compression is beyond me lol. i wouldnt do it but whats done is done and im just trying to make sure my bearings dont wash out. car was running fine with the 550s in it. had an up and down idle but i think that was due to the iacv
Gas in the oil sound like it was running fine to you? Maybe you better return it to stock because nothing all motor requires that big of an injector.

Nothing wrong with that injector size but you need to tune the damn thing and not assume it is. This is what happens when you buy someone else's hacked together fail of a project.
i understand that. talked to the dude who put the setup together today and he said the ecu was tuned for the 550s. so the only way i could take it back to stock would be get another ecu or tune right? because the ecu i got is a auto ls ecu. would a gsr ecu run a lsv?
