Driver's side window intermittent
1998 EX coupe. Driver's side window has become intermittent. Passenger side works from both driver's and passenger's side switches. Driver's side window is still on track, but has always been a bit slower to raise and lower compared to the passenger side since I bought the car 8 months ago. Any test or suggestions?
Test the motor first to be sure: Disconnect the motor connector. Take your cordless drill battery and jump from 1 terminal of the battery to 1 terminal of the connector and do the same with the other terminal of each. Just switch the wires to make the window go the other way.
A new OEM motor is like $200 and you'll probably run into the same problem with a salvage motor. I think the money is better spent on a re-manufactured motor for $30 here: http://www.rockauto.com/
