Default AC Idler Pulley Bolt Stripped.

Hello I was changing my timing belt and needed to take off the AC idler pulley. And the center bolt is a little stripped. Is there another way of removing it? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks.

Use a 6 point box end wrench or some vise grips and get a new bolt. Soak it first. If all else fails get a hacksaw or grinder in there and cut the bolt head off and remove the entire bracket. You might have to cut the head off, slide the pulley out a little and then cut the rest of the bolt behind the pully depending on what kind of clearance issues you run into.
You could also remove the entire compressor then main A/C bracket from the block. Might have to cut the belt.
