Most shops aren't really cheap on installation of a turbo kit. around the bay i've been quoted about 1000 buck at most places. I don't know y but i guess installing a turbo is exspensive. one shop quoted me 700 to do a motor swap but 1000 to install a turbo kit. to me i would think dropin in motor would be harde but i guess not. Just get a friend (with a Car), a 6 pack of beer, and about 5-6 qrts of oil(just to be on the safe side), pick a weekend and have fun

There's this guy near my house that re-welded my subframe after some swaybar related tearout. He did a bang-up job, and it turned out very clean, and most importantly sturdy. The place is called Undercar Service Works on King in San Jose.
