hi just doing a b16a swap and wanna replace some parts.. just wondering do i order the water pump,timing belt, clutch etc for a del sol or for an integra? my engine is from a teg xsi freont cut but im not sure?

also for a clutch would a heavy duty clutch be sufficient and would a 3 puck brass button result in breakin driveshafts etc if i dump it? i want a good clutch but not at the expensoe of driveability

Water pump & timing belt from Del Sol VTEC or 99-00 Civic Si.

Clutch depends on which tranny you have. I'm not positive, but I think that the 92 GSR clutch is the right one for a S1 tranny.

The only way you're going to break driveshafts is if you really build the motor (go built LSVTEC/CRVTEC or add 10+ lb of boost. Hi rpm clutch dumps probably won't break axles, but they certainly aren't good for the car/engine/tranny.

regarding the clutch.. i have a s1 tranny but we didnt get b16a integras down here in australia we only got the 1.8l non vtec.. so would that be the clutch im after? the one outta the 1.8l ??

I used a clutch for a 90-91 Integra 1.8 when I swapped.

 

all b series trannies should fit and be able to use any of their clutches(hydro different from cable)
s1, j1, y1 etc
