Default To Lower or not to lower?

I've noticed some people don't think it is all that necessary to lower a CRX. I mean they're pretty low to the ground as it is. So, the question is how many people here have lowered theirs?

Yeah - if the CRX your looking at looks sorta low, then the springs and struts are probably as dead as can be. My first crx was pretty tall, it totally needed to be lowered.

Pretty much everyone here has lowered their crx/civic - it's a must (mostly for the stiffer suspension)

stock suspension makes for a lot of body roll and boring rides. drop it 2 inches and it is a different car.

All I got to say is:

Dropthatmothafugga!!

Yeah, CRX's are high stock...not low whatsoever...but compared to OTHER cars, they might be considered low.

alright guys thanks a bunch. I just know that my dad isn't even thinking about lowering his bmw z3. That thing nearly touches in a lot of place now so he has to be extra cautious.

Z3 was meant to be a sports car, the CRX wasn't really meant to be a true sports car.. it's supposed to be a "practical" sports/economy car. which means it wasn't made low for "practical" reasons.. but it helps to lower it, i think.. just do it the right way with new springs AND shocks.

and don't lower it too much or you'll screw up the suspension geometry. I mean if you want it that low, air bag it, cuz you aren't worried about performance newayz.

When my 90 CRX Si was stock, it was friggin high! and the front looked like it was lower than the back... So i lowered it with some Sprint RX Extremes n now its SUPER LOW... Heres a pic of it

the shadows in the fender make it look higher than it really is...
