Toxicfab.com "On My Own" Fabrication Video
killer video and kill fab work. now ive been a metal fabricator for 15yrs now do you still find time to build things for yourself, cause i cant even get a moment to do what i wanna do.
Colin actually built his own nasty Evo and used the parts he made as templates for production pieces...his work has no competition since he is on a whole nother level or fabrication than most

Now that the song has made me depressed...
Very nice video! What kind of vise was that around 1:24? I'm in the market for one and that caught my eye.

Thanks everyone for the comments. We felt the song fit the mood perfectly.
As for the vise, it's from 1890 and is extreamly rare. It's a Printiss monarch 217-218 With 4 1/2" jaws. When I picked it up, it was trashed, rusted shut and looked like it had been under ground for 100 years which it may have been. After countless hours of blasting and oiling, powder coating and polishing it's a brand new made in the USA beast mode vise I'm proud to own. I also turned the handle in my lathe and made it over sized with 2" solid stainless weights. Thanks for noticing.
A good vise to look into would be a vintage Wilton bullet. I also have one of those a restored, even has the 60 year old soft jaws.

I suspected Wilton was probably a good one to look into just judging from the price tag on older used ones. I'll be keeping an eye out for one.
I love this VID! Had to post it to my facebook page lol. I worked a job where i was given free reign for a tig welder for a while. Teaching myself to weld and making my own catchcan and forward facing manifold was one of the most enjoyable things ive done in a long time. Its always been looking through your threads and post on here that give me inspiration. Awesome job man!
