Default 1990 ED hatch D15B VTEC build

Well to start the story the car I have landed with is an unknown platform. My brother sells cars and landed this hatch. He text me some pics and I saw it already had a swap. He is not familiar with the Honda swap world, but he knew it was not the OG motor in it. I came looked at it then took it off his hands for the brother to brother price.

Ok the history of the car and who did the swap is unknown unless someone here sees this car and knows who owned it lol.

What it came with
D15B vtec / 5speed
OBD1
DC headers/wack exhaust system
some suspension mods front/rear strut bar. lower rear bar
16x7 trakklite spoon replicas
rear disc conversion
no p/s, a/c

Plans for it well I dont know yet, but a paint job and body work is on the top of the list

how many solenoids?
the seats look dope, stripes are gay, gold horn surround on steering is hideous and i envy your rear brakes.
that switch probably controls the hyperdrive.
this has potential.

has one solenoid so I am gonna say D15B VTEC from the Japanaese 92-95 Civic VTi
stripes yes gay
gold horn I am putting up with
turbo boost I would say because it has a boost gauge????? no turbo (gauge will be removed)
I can agree potential

I want to see after painting it and after getting a better ride height will my heart be set to keep her or sell her for a completely stock model ED/EF.

I had a 91 std with the same interior. Only difference was the driver seat was the usual ripped. Interior looks like it's in GREAT shape.

D15B just gave me some issue on high RPM shifts. Car when it reaches close to 6000 rpm it hesitates like it is limited. Never did that before. Got to check my sensors and connections.

Upgraded my intake system

After:

Off the car:

I wanted to have a set-up like this tube with OEM air box. I think it came out pretty good.

Not bad at all. The intake looks really nice. You could probably find the pm6 tubing for pretty cheap at a junkyard if you want the intake to look completely stock.

I got one coming. I checked the yards and I can never find a A6 tube onlt the B1 B2 tubes that dont fit (already found that out). I want also to paint this tube black.

Nice. Looks like you have a good starting point. I really like what you did with the stock air box....im about to do the same and paint the tube blackas well. Paint would transform this car.

Looks like a good start. I like the intake tube but I hate those wheels haha. I had a hatch same color with those wheels and first things I did was get different rims haha
