I have a 93 LX. Just got this car a couple of weeks ago. A few days into owning it I noticed the gauge cluster lights, radio, heater wont work.

I am thinking that it is a ground issue because it is an on and off issue. Sometimes it all works fine, and other times they wont work. Heres the details...

The gauge cluster lights wont turn on or will randomly turn off along with the heater lights.

A seperate issue is that when I start the car sometimes the radio will not turn on, and when this happens, the heater blower wont work.

These issues happen randomly. Either everything works just fine. Or the dash lights wont work, or the heater/radio wont work. I have yet to see all these things not working at the same time.

I have checked all fuses, checked grounds off the battery, passenger fender, thermostat, valve cover and transmission.

I tried searching for any interior grounds under the dash that my cause this, but had no luck. With how random it is I really believe its a ground issue, but may be barking up the wrong tree. Any suggestions is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

 

In addition, the gauge cluster has been changed before I bought it. I then switched it out with an EX cluster. Everything seemed ordinary and had no issues. This may or may not have to do with what I am dealing with, but just figured I'd add any extra info I may have.
