Crx si wnt give signs of life after swap ???
Im having a problem right now.did a d15b2 swap into a a 89crx si yea i knw y a d15b2 well because thats the engine he had.anyways put it on hooked everything up and i get nothing when i turn the key.the headlights do turn on tho and it makes that noise when the key is in the ignition and the door is open.but thats it.any ideas?
Did you hook up the starter correctly? I believe one connection is bolted and the other is a "spade" connector you just slip on.
Still nothing.no lights come on the cluster at all.just still the beeping noise it makes when door is open and key is in ignition.could a bad ecu cause this?
Check your wiring this does sound like a bad ground. Do you hear your main relay click or fuel pump prime when you turn the key? You can check your main relay with a good meter. Test your relay harness as well. check Battery Voltage and make sure your wire that runs to your fuse box under the hood is good too and your terminals are clean and your getting a good connection there. Hook a meter up to your starter to the one that comes from your battery and then the one with the spade connecter and have someone turn the key. Was your engine running before you did the swap? or had it been sitting for awhile?
