Default Ventilation in your shops.

Ok guys....

I have had enough of all the dust and the smoke from the cutting saws in my shop.

What do you guys use to vetn your shops.

Pictures and product names will be much appreciated!

Not mine, but what we use.

Cut hole in wall, mount to wall, plug in.

Also have a couple of these portable ones, You can get some that are variable speed.

These generally come out of home HVAC and commerical style systems, can usually find a scrapper of CL selling some, or broken HVAC units and yard them out. They work great, high CFM, and tons of them around.

We had a makeup air and exhaust fan set up for the shop in general... and each welding station had their own dedicated hood with fan and makeup air.

I've got 2 1100cfm fans in my ~1000sqft shop takes about 30 seconds to clear out all the smoke, impossible to close the service door with them both on! They move air fast and aren't very expensive to install or maintain.
