what is the best engine to get for a integra to run a turbo from the b18c or the b20vtec or just the ls

most people say use the non VTECs for boost but i feel the b18c1 and b16a respond well to boost as well. I have seen many tegs (90-93) with boosted b16's inside. The b16 is a high revving motor and it is excellent for turbo as it has a shorter stroke which helps in the spool up time of the turbo. I am running my B18C1 under boost in my integra and i am very pleased with it. If you are on a budget though the LS would be the best bet for boost as parts are easier to come by as well as being cheaper. hope this helps
