I have sprung a leak! I did some reserch and it seems to be coming from around/underneath the EGR valve (92 honda accord) any ideas where in that area it could be coming from ?

 

I had what appeared to be a pretty bad oil leak on my 94. It had oil all over the rear of my engine. It turned out that the valve cover gasket had gotten pinched and was the cause of the leak. That would be the first place I would look.

 

it's going to depend a whole lot on what exactly it is that's leaking

 

Leaking oil? Coolant? Vacuum? Exhaust?

 

And year Accord do you have???? The VTEC model has the VTEC Solenoid near that area. And/or the distributor o-ring can be leaking which I'm sure cause almost all of them I see do.
