so was driving my 1992 eg hb si to town this morning and was hearing a ticking noise then got louder and louder turned off once i went go of the gas had to take my brother to work so fired her back up and made it about 4 miles then a loud bang and smoke came under the hood popped the hood and a rod came outta the block!! hoping my head is still good gonna sell it and put a gsr motor in it since its bard for one.where can i buy a gsr motor??help plz

no i want to know what could have cause this to happen?im new to this i just bought the car last week knowing nothing about cars time to do some reading and research

 

Please point out where in your 1st post it is asking a question about the motor that blew...

Be more clear with your post and add more details if you expect to get help.

If your asking why it smoked and a rod came out of the block....sounds like you starved it of oil.
