Stalling
My 1988 Civic starts fine, will idle for a bit and then stalls. I tried starting it up and it struggles to start. I checked the air filter, replace the fuel filter, the distributer was replaced not long ago. I read that possably it could be my ignition switch?? Any other ideas??
There are many possible causes for this, We'll need more info.
Is the car stock, or modified? Are there any CEL codes coming up?
The distributor that was just replaced, why was it replaced?
I would check it out since it was a recent change to the vehicle. I wouldn't assume since its new that its good, many cheap remanufacured electrical parts can be hit or miss, OEM is the safer way to go.
You need spark, fuel, and compression (and air), so make sure you're getting all.
Check all of you grounds and fuses, and the battery connection.
