My gauge cluster started to fail on my. At first I noticed it was just the tachometer and temp gauge. Then other things stopped working (CEL, brake light, hatch light, fuel gauge, oil etc). The turn signals are not working either.

I took the cluster off and checked or any loose wires, but didn't find any. Put it back together and when i first turned the ignition key, the CEL, brake, hatch, battery lights came on. But then I turned the key a second time, and everything stopped working again.

And what's more, the radio unit isn't working now either. All of this **** just happened in 2 days!

Please HELP! I'm a newb with electrical stuff.

 

...and now my driver side head light is not working. wtf... it's like a virus is infecting my electrical system

 

I would look into the dash brightness controller. Check all your grounds and fuses.
