97 accord flooding, won't start
Hi,
I have a 97 accord that won't start, it appears to be flooding. If I remove the injectors it will run until it burns available fuel then dies. If I introduce more air by disconnecting vacuum line to brake booster it runs wide open. where should I be looking, I am getting no codes, I disconnected the tps and it threw a code, Plugged back in and it didn't. What controls the amount of fuel delivered on start?

The ECU/ECM controls injector pulse, either the ECU/ECM is bad, one or more injecter is bad, one or more of the leads running from the ECU/ECM to the injectors is shorted to ground keeping the one or omre of the injectors open. 94
Thanks for your response, I have already tried a different ECU, injectors are not leaking, they all seem to be opening for the same duration so I will check for ground. If I crimp the fuel supply line I can get the car to start and run, albeit not well. I was thinking possibly too much pressure and I have a gauge but no way to connect it since the 97 doesn't have a sevice port. any ideas on how to connect one? I have checked the regulator for leaking to the vaccum side and it seems ok.
Just want to say thanks for the help. I now know what the problem is. After changing the fpr and still having the same problem, I started thinking timing again so I double checked the cam gear and it kinda looked like it was in between teeth, so I advanced it one, rotated a couple revolutions to make sure it stayed. I put it back together and it fired right up idling perfect, and then what ever made it slip the first time happened again. Only this time it wasn't just one tooth. I put it back in time and now I have zero compression on all cylinders. Don't know how I could have bent every valve but, I guess now I am pulling the head. Again thanks for the help especially to FCM
