ok heres the situation ,

my civic has giving issues that are driving me crazy , its all stock nothing done to it and original motor with 315k miles on it.

Whats been going on is intermittent "stalls" when driving it, i had been noticing what felt like a stutter going down the highway like a fuel problem. then it got to where it would just die going down the road then pick back up like someone was killing power to it. sometimes it would niot pick up and have to pull over and let it sit for 20 mins or so then would turn over like no fuel or fire up and run very rough for a few secs then starting off it would stutter in and out repeatedly.

it seemed to be doing this problem after it would get warmed up good IE: every 75 miles i figured out or there bouts. So i started replacing fuel filter which i thought fixed it ... nope same thing going on. After two fuel filters and no change i took it to garage where they replaced fuel pump .... after a drive of 90 miles on the highway it started same symptoms again. but this time it was happening after a 20-25 mile drive.

heres what i have done to it since first seeing these issues with it.

2- fuel filters replaced
1- fuel pump installed
1- set new wires and plugs
1- set spark plug seals ( they were leaking figured maybe fouling plugs ...)

would it be the igniter or coil ? causing it to do this once it got "hot" and miles on it? as intown driving it doesnt seem to be a issue and i havent felt or had issues with driving it under ten-15 miles at a time.

any help would be great and i did read the article on testing the distro' but beeing it is intermittent i would have to test it on roadside
