Default paxton fuel pump with stock lines? help

I was thinking, can I just splice my paxton into the hard steel line feeding the engine? kinda liek the smaller pumps that come with the kits?

kinda like this:

tank--->hard line--->paxton pump--->paxton filter--->rail--->braided return line

if I can do this, what size line should I run for the return line? Or should I be fine with the stock return lines as well?

it may stress the pump too much...i know that aeromotive suggests using -10an feed, and mounting in a place which allows gravity to assist fuel delivery...

as far as feed and returns lines go, i'm no expert but i knwo that send is typically bigger than return...

Thats true, it does have to be a gravity feed assisted or the pump will burn itself out. As far as using your hard lines, they can only handle so much power and if you feel as if you need a inline high output pump then maybe you shouldnt skimp on the lines. I think stock honda lines can handle ~400 whp. Dont quote me on that. I suggest that you get the appropriated plumbing with the delivery system in order to be effective. HTH
