gsr final drive into ls?

gsr final drive into ls?
Ok I'm putting all new syncros springs and sleeves into my hydro ls. Now I got a gsr diff with ring gear and countershaft. I'm wondering if I just take the shims out for the enclosed bearings and put in the shims for the gsr 2 piece bearings will all be well?? Any help would be great as I'm in the process this,, weekend
