Default 92 Accord - Timing Belt Change...Tips?

Hey guys,

My 92 has 85k so I figure I better go ahead and do the timing belt...

Has anybody got some good links to webpages that detail the TB change on a 92 Accord? Or just have any tips to offer?

Also, what would a shop typically charge?

Thanks for any advice you can give me...

Do you have a Honda service manual? It is very well detailed in there... I got mine for like $20 on ebay, it is worth so much more!

Its a major pain, either buy a manual or take it to the dealer.

Here's one good tip I learned.

36" hollow galvanized steel pipe, 1/2" drive breaker bar

Together as a pair they take the crank bolt off with no problem.

Thanks for the tip

Any websites that give a good step-by-step?

I'm looking for a service manual also...

Tip for ya if you do it yourself - make certain that you get the balance shafts aligned correctly or you will get to do most of the job all over again after you put it back together and it shakes like a ****. I speak from experience. It's not hard, just follow the procedure in the service manual.
