Are you talking about the 2P service connector used for pulling CEL codes?

Yes and Ive seen what there suppose to look with no luck, but now I have a different problem. Just below my distributor cap, coming out of the harness, there are two wires leading to a plug, then to a censor on the top of my transmission housing . Previous owner had some duct tape wrapped around there because of a oil spill, I pulled the two plugs apart, cleaned them up and put them back together. But first I had to pull the distributor cap off to get to that plug. I gently pried the roter off and proceeded to clean the plugs, put it all back together, went to start it, and it would crank but would not fire. This is a 1993 Del Sol help me please.

What car?

The service connector is inserted into a plug on top of the large wire harness above the ECU.

Was the plug on top of the transmission for the back up lights? What are the colors and number of wires in the plug?

For the distributor, check whether the firing order on the cap is correct.

Hello, this is the picture of the plug that I pulled, one arrow points to the plug, the other arrow points to the transmission top. And yes if that indeed is a backup light indicator, then it is. That's what I was messing with, the only other thing I did was take the cap and roter off to get to the plug simpler. Is the obd1 plug attached to the top of the ECU? If so, does it hang there or do you have to detach it? Can send more pictures tomorrow of what I am looking at regarding the obd1 plug.

Remove your passenger kick panel and take pictures of the wire harness above the ECU. Post them.

To make your pictures display in your post, paste the IMG code for the picture.

You also haven't mentioned what the problem is.

These are the pictures:

Enclosed here are the photos of my ECU under my passenger side dash, looking for the OBD1 plug as described in your comments, doesn't seem to be visible, and I guess my question is, are some of these cars made without the OBD1 plugs? OR are they located somewhere else on the car? I was able to get a diagram in a manual that showed, under the ECU harness, at the bottom, under that plate (photo above) there is some type of hook-up. Previous owner hit a deer, not a lot of damage, but stated that is when the CEL came visible. My fans don't seem to be kicking on. I read that, that TW sensor could be sending a false message to my injectors. Thank you for any help you can give me!
