Default Help... B16 running on 2 cylinders

Ok guys here's why's going on, have a 90 crx dx. Did a dpfi to mpfi. My car is only runnin on cylinders 2 and 3. Can pull plug wires from 1 an 4 while running with no change in engine idle at all. Could it be a crossed/ backwards wire from the conversion? Oh and if it matters I'm running obd1, p30 ecu. Haven't wired vtec or 02 sensors up yet. Any input will help guys. Thanks in advance.

Did you wire in the injectors? MPFI swaps require some wiring changes. A "crossed or backwards" wire will definately lead to issues like this.

Check here: http://www.angelfire.com/d20/hcivic88/dx-siwiring.html

Also do you have the correct injector and resistor setup? you need the right combo (sorry I forget whats needed)

A safer way of checking the injectors is to unplug them (like you did with the spark plugs) one by one listening for changes in the engine. You can aslo listen for the "click" of the injector with a long tube/hose to listen with (one end in your ear the other to listen with)

Fuel should only spay when the motor is cranking over, It will only come out of the fuel filter the way you tried ( with the banjo bolt loose).

He had OBD1 high impedance injectors with the resistor box wired in. Changed injectors to OBD0 low impedance. Problem solved.
