Small area of the passenger side tail light has water in it. The exact part is the tiny squarish lens part that is mounted to the trunk. It is in the clear half. Here is a generic photo of the tail lights of a 99-00 Civic.

Any idea how water got inside this small square part of the lens? How can I get the water out? It appears as if the water has faded the silver paint (inside the assembly) away of the small square portion.
