Default How should I cover this hole

Wire tuck an brakes are tuck put the fuse box on back of glove box
I know the plastic tray will cover most of the hole that
Lays across for wiper motor but should put something over this spot ?

Make a cover for it, paint it to match and put the cowl over it.

Isn't that the intake for the HVAC? Probably not a good idea if you ever want fresh air in your vents
