ECU Question

Icon2 ECU Question

if i put a diffrent manifold, or throttle body or even a intake manifold to increase power will my ECU accpet it or reject those mods, i own a 95 civic lx 5spd

Simple answer: None of those things will increase power to begin with, so no, your ECU won't even notice the difference.

People change those parts because they think they'll get more power out of them. They don't. The only way to get power worth mentioning is boost, a swap, or ten grand worth of major motor work.

Some people also just replace certain parts (I/H/E, namely) for "bling factor".
