Default F22A6 Distributor into a F22A4 Engine?

Hi, does anyone know if the distributor from a 1993 Accord with the external coil will fit into a 1991 Accord that has the internal coil? That's a F22A6 distributor going into a F22A4 engine? Thanks!

It will fit but it won't work without you converting it from external coil to internal coil...if you want to take on this task just google "internal coil to external coil conversion".

I just goggled it and it looks doable seeing as I already have a spare external coil distributor on hand.

Thanks.

Well I just completed the external coil conversion to internal and fired up fine and felt good on the test run. All went well with the exception of my shitty soldering job. I don't have a timing light so will have to get my hands on one tomorrow and fine tune it a bit. Thanks for the guidance!!!

Two wires and some solder, practice! Takes time to learn to solder perfectly, I can now do a perfect solder every time no matter the angle. Once you learn to do it correctly you will never consider a crimp connector again.
