can the greddy turbo kit fit the 94 gsr?? it says 96-99 on the website. also, can I run 5-6 psi on a fully rebuilt stock gsr motor safely as a daily driver???TIA

 

You wont be able to use the FCU.

You sure about that? Seems like power/ground... 4 injector splices, and 1 map sensor interrupt. I really think it'd work.

 

You could physically wire it up. But there are obd1/2 differences which the fcu won't be able to account for, I'm assuming.

yeah it sounds straightforward doesnt it? i was told the greddy kit blue box will have issues with my '00 ecu - but i am getting the kit anyway since i have alternate fuel solution. so there is a chance there is an incompatiblity with the obd1 gsr's but you're rigth it doesnt make complete sense. art probly knows more about it than i do though.

 

Hmmm... I could definitely be wrong here, but I think that the FCU just reads MAP voltage and corresponds with an injector pulse lengthening...

 

I might be wrong.
