Default greddy kit on a 00 gsr

I'm looking to get a greddy turbo kit for a 2000 gsr, but greddy doens't make one. i talked to greddy and they said the entire turbo will fit, it's just the fmu wouldn't work and i might have to cut the down pipe a little bit. i was wondering what i could use instead of greddy's fmu. also, maybe it would work if i was to just change to obd-I??? what do you guys think.

find a 96-98 GSR ECU if you really want to use the Greddy kit.

The downpipe won't bolt up because it's a few inches short. Also, you will need to have a o2 sensor bung welded into the downpipe. You can use the FCU, but you will need to wire it according to a 00-01 GSR ecu diagram. HTH

do you think it's worth all the hasle or should i just stick with a drag kit? i just know that the greddy kit has some more quality parts and is a safer turbo. I'm not lookin to go crazy boost...yet...but do want to keep the car around a long time...50k+. it's daily driven and i'm never at the track, at least for now, so i thought the greddy kit would be best. but i'm not sure if it's worth all this

Go Drag if you do not want to modify the parts to fit...
