ac radiator fan doesent come on
i washed my engine after i replaced my radiator i had my car running and when i turned it off noticed the ac fan was staying on at full power for like 30 min then it finally stoped and now it wont turn on at all...the other fan works fine though. i connected the fan that wont turn on to 12 v and it turned on so i know the fan works i thought it was the relay but that wasent it either i checked fuses and all, anybody else had this problem r know what can be the problem... i was thinking the electrical wires that connect the relay idk thanks..
I know the relays on mine were super gummed up for some reason when I replaced my radiator (AC fan also didn't work). You could try finding two good ones from the junkyard and testing those, they won't be too expensive.
yea the relays are good i replaced them but the fan still dont turn on i think it might have to do with the electrical wires that connect to the other end of the relays
Not trying to sound harsh here but who in their right mind takes a chance by spraying water onto their engine ? Aren't you just asking for trouble ?
Be that as it may, try the fan timer unit.

I'd start with what year accord this is?
Ok the 4th gens have some issues with the timer.....the 5th, almost none.....the 6th, not even sure they have one and too lazy to look.
Also the location of the cond fan and cooling fan relays are "way different".....drivers fender, drivers side rad support (right next to ac comp relay), ect..........
Edit: then we can start guessing about thermo b being shorted to ground.

its a 97 lx with a f22b2 it has to be shorted ..at first i would stick a needle thru the wiring harness that connects to the relay and it would kick on and off that was before it completely died
it actually wasent me i had turned my back and the person who was helping me, he wanted to clean my engine but i dident think like that, ...he was drowning my engine next tiime ill just by myself,, but how can i test the fan timer unit ?
