Hello folks,

Another small question I have. I just did a tranny swap about a month ago, 99 prelude tranny with 100km on it I put a new exedy clutch kit.

I just noticed, the car is alot easier (shifts like butter) when its off, but with it on there's a little resistance but it does pop into gear with a little force..

Can anyone suggest what this may be plz?

Could it be that I didn't bleed the clutch good enough?

 

Possibly. Can you measure the amount of throw that the slave cylinder extends when the clutched pedal is actuated and verify it is within spec.

 

I notice it doesn't move nearly as much as I remember it to. I'm gonna assume I need to bleed the stupid thing better. This will be my 7th time bleeding! :D

 

Mine is the same way, definitely will be bleeding my clutch again soon. Just so dang cold up here in MN.. For sure update how it goes, I'm curious.
