Has anyone ACTUALLY used the 2nd gen Integra front knuckles on a CRX???
I've heard some people say they work fine, and others say it messes up the suspension geometery. Has anyone ACTUALLY done this swap on their 2nd Gen CRX?
Does it work or not?

have done it.. hope you like positive camber.
camber equals out to about 0 when fully dropped on coilovers.(with no travel).
if you want some suspension travel.. stay away from teg knuckles

I used them on my 91 CRX Si. It gave me way negative camber. The car is lowered 2 1/4 inches. I eventually went to Civic EX knuckles instead, much better.
I have them on my 91 hf/b16 I am going to get my camber readjusted tommorow after putting a new 91 teg knuckle on my pass side. I will post the answer when I find out. Or at least my answer.
From my experience combined w/ others it appears that if you are lowered you will see an exagerated negative camber. If you are at stock height you will see a positive camber. Although some people may not know what is what so for them here it is... / \ = Negative \ /= Positive
...oh and it puts enormous strain on your upper ball joints.

93 gsr knuckles AND UCA, with the suspension as it is, -2.1 camber upfront, +1.6 castor.
my entire suspension (mostly) including the brakes is GSR.
it works.

i have 90 teg ls knuckles on my 89 crx si. have it lowered about 2 inches all around, corrected with an ingalls camber kit. had the camber kit adjusted when i had the crx knuckles on, noticed no camber change when i put on the integra knuckles. i do now notive i have some caster wear (slight wave to the tire tread) so i will be taking it to my friends at the tire shop for an alignment. big improvement in braking, went from the 9.5 crx disc up front to 10.5 integra disc, as well as drum to 9" disc for the rears.
got my camber done an hour ago with my teg axel, the one I replaced on the pass side is adjusted less (on my camber kit) than the drivers side, so I am assuming that the camber after the teg knucle is negative but not as much as whatever my other axel is(cause I don't know).

glad it worked for you. did you have any problems with the install? like having to knotch your control arm?
Teg knuckles are axle breakers! Some will swear it works fine, if they have a slammed car, but if it doesn't survive at stock ride hieght, why would you want it when the car is lower, just more to worry about! The teg knuckles are 1/2" taller than the stock CRX/Civic or JDM SiR knuckles, thus throwing off the geometry. The positive caster is acheived because of the upper control arm. I used the JDM SiR knuckles with the SiR UCA, and always wondered why when I really jammed on the breaks I would hear a loud popping noise out of the front end, or if I hit a really bad bump (car was at stock ride height), turns out the UCA was creating positive caster and was pushing the axle closer into the front of the shock fork. At full lock the axle would almost hit the fork with the car on jack stands, not my personal preference. Honda does design things a certain way for a reason, and slightly altering one item can adversly affect several other aspects at once. If you want to be able to race your car (and I don't mean the nascar equivalent of import racing, drag racing (YEEE-HAWWW!!!)) I would suggest that you maintain a solid suspension geometry.

what can i use to notch the UCA a jig saw?
i have the knuckles and calipers on my car and i have NO problems with them whatsoever......my car is lowered 1.5" and it handles great and the last time i got an alignment was when i put on some new tires and the car is fine....no popping noises.......nothing strange.....only thing i can think of is that when i brake on my current rotors (still on powerslots, havent changed to the brembo's yet) i get some massive vibration, but that has nothing to do with the knuckles as we all know
