Check Engine light comes on after misfire

Just purchased an 1993 Honda Del Sol, got it started, ran okay, then engine started to shake a little bit, then check engine light started to appear. If it doesn't shake a little bit the check engine light stays off. Please help.

Your Check Engine light is supposed to come on for a misfire. I'm sure you have a misfire code.
