I have a 95 civic w/ a p30 that has does not have a check engine light I think the previous owner popped the bulb. I am almost positive that it is throwing some codes, so is there any other way I can check this?

 

Check the bulb.

yes the bulb it's a size 74 as far as i know. then jump it and let us know the code here's a list:http://check-engine-light-codes.blog...retrieval.html

long blink=10
short blink=1

so:long long short short=22(just an example)

 

OK did that but jumping it just made the cel stay on. No flashes what does this mean?

 

Bad ECU possibly. Can you swap it with a known good one?

The way it was using gas and sluggish performance even after a tuneup

 

Theres MANY things that can cause that(slugishness). Not everything has a sensor/code related to it. Solid cel is ECU/ECM there's a way of going about checking all that. search it or maybe someone can specifly it more.

 

Well the CEL stays on now when runnin, but when I jump the 2 pin connector it won't flash the CEL it just goes off
