Hi all, bought this '00 CRV for $1,200. Had the windows tinted and headlights replaced. Made a world of a difference already. I have a GSR head and a spare '01 CRV for parts. Going to use the b20z shortblock, maybe keep the trans and part the rest out. I've been in touch with kidflavor and looks like the GSR head will be easier than I thought. Already have the apexi vafc2 to activate vtec. I was thinking about doing a VERY mild build since a tune isn't possible. Just wondering how much the auto ECU can keep up with? I've been toying with stage 1 NA cams and possibly 10.5:1 pistons. Also have a set of 450cc blue top injectors. If this is too much for the stock ECU in an auto, please let me know, thanks!

 

most definatly too many mods once you change pistons hell the head will make a world of diff in breathing will have to tune for sure

 

So what do you tune an auto crv with? Crome, Neptune...? I can't be the first to do this with an autobox.
