Recently, it's been a battle trying to get into welding school. I started off with a workforce in
which allows upcoming students an easier approach towards a 5,000 Dollar Grant. Boy was I
lucky! The only downfall is that it takes very long, but then again becomes really worth it in
the end.

The provider is the Illinois Welding School, and I am sooo.. stoked!



Any tips on basic fabrication, such as youtube videos ? A picture means a thousand words.
I've been reading a book by Todd Bridigum, "How to Weld", it pretty detailed when it comes
to information and the context is very simple for comprehension.

Oh yea i know, Jobs remember! lol Congrats man! I put in my two weeks at the Job Shop that hired me and I was offered a job as a Welder/Fabricator at Big Bear Choppers! It's a place local to me and is super clean! I'm pretty stocked man!

I'm not really into bikes but it's going to be great experience! Here's a pic I took after my Weld test lol Pretty f'ing cool and the owner is Super nice! 1hr lunch breaks here I come!!

Thanks man I really appreciate it! Been working my *** off and it's finally starting to pay off. Good luck with your school, there is always a job for a skilled welder. The only thing I would recommend is to focus on fitting parts and fabricating. It goes hand in hand with being a good welder.

No. Just welding in specific! They don't offer different courses that are non-welding related.
