Default Is it possible to swap an Integra steering rack onto a Civic?

I have a 98 Hatch with power steering and the steering ratio just plain sucks. Far too loose when the wheel is centered and not nearly as responsive as it should be. I've heard the Integra racks are much more firm and responsive. Would be possible to swap the racks and is there a difference in Integra racks?

Oh, and I will be swapping a B-series soon and plan on keeping the P/S if I can swap racks. Would I have to use a B-series P/S pump or would I just need the bracket? Thanks for the help in advance.

I don't think they're compatible (without modification at least). Not really sure though. You will need b series pump though.....

Well, I know I would have to switch crossmembers if I were going from manual to P/S or vice versa, but i'm just not sure about this swap. Guess i'll buy one and find out! Does anyone know if there is a difference in the Integra racks as far as ratios go?

you cant swap any integra rack onto a 96+ civic.

They are interchangable between integras and 92-95 civics though.

The cross members on EK's are COMPLETELY different. The EK rack goes through the middle of an enourmous crossmember and the EG/DC rack goes on top of a smaller k-member.

It would probably be possible with some custome machined mounting brackets.
