Default Photo help? D-series

Hi all, could someone please help me out by posting a photo/photos of the transmission mount installed in the car?

I tried searching, but as most of you know, this mount is pretty well concealed by the air box and battery. So I was not successful.

Thanks!

Unfortunately not really the right angle (looking for closer to a directly overhead or sort of toward the rear type view, I guess). Thank you for the effort at all though!

Eh, that picture was in my stash from a few years back. If no one else comes through I'll see if I can snap the picture you need this weekend since my car is down anyway.

Thanks again for the pic.

I recently looked at my transmission mount and noticed there appears to be some piece that comes off the mount (or near the mount?), which has a hole through it and sits above another piece which also has a hole and those two pieces look like they should probably have a large bolt through the two.

Tomorrow perhaps I'll take a photo to better illustrate what I'm talking about. I too do not want to freeze my *** off outside. It was snowing earlier tonight.

I can't remember if there ever was one there though... And I had the transmission replaced awhile back after the stock one grenaded on the other side of the country (where I had no tools and nowhere to work on the car, so I had to get it towed to a shop and repaired there). To clarify, the car is an '88 CRX HF with an '88 Si transmission (and a '98 D16Y8, but that's likely not important, though the swap happened after the transmission swap).

I had taken photos of every mount before the original engine came out, but I can't find the photos for the life of me.

Not sure if it will help, but here's a relevant diagram from the service manual:

Hmm... oddly enough, that photo also does not appear to show what I have. I'm not convinced that the mount currently on my transmission came with the car though. Because of the transmission swap, I'm thinking it could be from the transmission donor car.

That was from the 91 CRX manual.

Here's one from the 88 CRX manual:

Your description sounds familiar to what I remember seeing when I had mine apart. I'll get a pic tomorrow.

I have had this mount broken three times on me. twice on a lowered crx with solid mounts and once on a SUPER STOCK RIDE crx. Im convinced its not the mounts fault. 20 year old cars have bad bushing and what not so everything tends to flex out of place.

Thanks. I haven't noticed any ripping of the rubber or of the actual mount itself. My problem lies in those two pieces that look like they were supposed to be attached by a bolt perhaps. I don't know how they're supposed to look.

I do hear a knocking on the passenger side of the car when it accelerates hard, but I also hear a wobbling sound from the same side, which seems to be similar in origin, when the car is just rolling down the road, usually on rougher pavement. Other times it makes no odd noises.

Here is the location I'm most curious to see photos of from others.

OH, i didnt know you were talking about that piece. I thought you were talking about the actual mount to the bracket itself.

I never have had anything there on mine. Looks to be for a wire loom to clip in? serves no purpose from what i see. too thin to actually be used to reinforce the strength for the mount.

Thanks. Any ideas why there are two of those brackets there so close to each other (one black, one white)?
