Default d16y8 auto transmission with a y5 engine is it possible?

i have a 1998 civic hx that came with a cvt.

i was wondering if i could swap the cvt for a y8 auto transmission? or a y7?

if yes. does anybody know the steps or where i could find them?

It's not possible.

You can either find another CVT (JDM importers often have them since they came mated to a lot of OBD2 JDM D15B Vtecs) or swap in a manual trans and manual HX ECU and O2 sensor.
