obd2 h23a to 94 lx accord f22b2
OK so we did the swap... p13 ecu, the 94 f22b2 obd1 harness was fitted
With the plugs from the h23a obd2 harness. Resistor box was deleted
For the saturated injectors. Got it started on the first turn over and threw
Two codes
Cel 9
Cel 14
Now the main part we are stumped on is the distributor because of
The internal coil distributor that came with the h23a and the external
coil that was on the 94 accord. We did take the complete insides out
Of the accord distributor and put them in the h23a housing to use the
External coil. And that's how it started the first time. But we got cel 9/
No.1 cylinder position sensor. And cel 14 iacv. So...
The cyp sensor... the h23a distributor pluged into the accord harness
No problem minus the external coil plug I think is blue and yellow or
Yellow with black stripe. And the h23a distributor has the
tdc/ckp/cyp magnets in the distributor. And I was thinking the ckp/cyp
Was under the bottom timing cover but its not. So it seems like the
H23a is part obd1 and obd2?
What we Are wanting to know is..
1. Where does the h23a distributor black with a yellow stripe go sense
The harness was obd1 external coil.
2. Why are we getting the cyp sensor cel code 9 if the tdc/ckp/cyp sensors
Are in the distributor?
The car wouldn't start with the internal coil distributor on. But with
The icm wires set up on the h23a internal coil for external coil and
using the external coil It would run but got cel 9.
Cel 14 is the iacv and it was the 3 wire to 2 wire and I think that's
Just mixed up alittle and should be a simple wire swap fix...
Just for kicks... I read that the h23a1 distributor will fit the h23a vtec head
And is available in external and internal? True or false?
I tryed the internal coil to external coil stuff and its got us all
looped around. Anyone with info on wtf I need to todo to get
The cel 9 fixed or tricked or whatever.
