shops that will press bearing in Indianapolis
I believe this is my first post. This site has helped me a lot with my 2000 ex that has 175000 miles.
I think my lower ball joint is bad. Im going to check it today once it breaks 20F. Car work in the cold is about like hitting your fingers with a hammer. I called the Honda dealerships in Indianapolis and they charge $75-85 to press in a ball joint! I called a couple of local shops and they said they would not do it. One of the shops said Honda control arms are too weak for there presses?!? They work on American cars. I not kidding that was the one shops thought process. With all that stated does anyone know of a local shop that does Honda work for less?

You can rent the proper installation tool from places like autozone I believe. I just carefully hammer them in. You want to hit the raised edge. DO NOT hit the center!
Also buy an OEM Honda ball joint unless you want to make a habit of replacing them.
