Default Help with Idle probs. already replaced IACV and bled coolant...

Alright, So if anyone can help me it would be great. I have a stock 96 hatch dx with a d16y7. I am having an idle surging problem only when it is idling. This does not happen when the AC or heat is on. When the car gets to normal operating temp is when it starts and only if the ac and heat are turned off. It will just rev up and down up and down continuouisly. I have already replaced the IACV, bled the cooling sytem and checked the voltage on the TPS. Does anyone have any Idea what this could be? I do not want to take it to a mechanic if it turns out to be something easy to fix.

Have you set your base idle ? You either have a vacuum leak or your base idle is too high. I'm not sure if your car has an iacv as I'm not civic expert but if it does you can try twisting the plastic piece down.

Have u recentlly added a new intake system? If so, disconnect the battery and the wireing harness which goes to ur throttle body.. Recconect everything starting with the battery first.. Start the car, and let it idle for at least 10_15 min.. This will allow ur car to readjust its air intake and store it in memory.. After doing this, turn ur car off.. Then start her up and take her on a test ride!!
Ps bro, look into getting a Tbs " throttle body spacer " ..

I had the same issue with my civic a while back and mine was a vacuum line issue. Use a squirt bottle filled with soapy water. Helped me find the leak.

I would also say to check for vacuum leaks. You can start the car and then spray the whole throttle body with carb cleaner and when you hit a leak you will be able to hear it. The sound if the motor running with fluctuate differently.
